ACG Jammu sensitises Gujjar-Bakarwals about online permission facility for transportation of bovine animals

Jammu: Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner AnshulGarg, Assistant Commissioner General (ACG) RakeshDubey Wednesday sensitized the GujjarBakarwal Community, Police department, Animal Husbandry and RTO regarding the online permission facility for transportation of bovine animals.
District Informatics Officer, Sanjay Gupta gave a presentation regarding the online service available on e-sutra portal and sensitized them about the procedure for applying for the permission.
The DIO said that first of all the applicant needs to make a profile on the portal and provide the details regarding the bovine animal transportation like number of bovine to be transported, from which district and to which district and the details of vehicles in which the bovine animal are going to be transported.
Afterwards, the concerned departments like RTO, Police, SDPO and Animal Husbandry will provide the permission within 7 days.
The representatives from GujjarBakarwal community present in the meeting applauded the efforts of District Administration and said that online service will prove to be of great help for getting the permission for bovine animal transportation.
