Srinagar| March,29: Former Minister and Ex MLA Kupwara Gh Qadir Mir a political legend of his times passed away in the night intervening Monday and Tuesday at his Srinagar residence at Friends Enclave Srinagar.
Family sources while confirming the demise of Mir said that his body is being taken to “Lone Harie” Kupwara where he will be laid to rest. Namaz-e-Jinazah (Funeral Prayers) of the deceased will be held today (Tuesday) at 5:30 PM at their Ancestral graveyard at Lone Harria Kupwara. Fateha Khawani of the deceased will be held on 4th day, Ist April at the ancestral residence of the deceased at Lone Harai, Kupwara. He is survived by his son Nazir Ahmed Mir, Former MD State Cable Car Corp. & Father-in-Law of Jahangir Mir, Former Deputy Commissioner Kulgam and former Director General Youth Services & Sports department of J&K Government.
