KVIB Reasi hosts awareness camp on PMEGP, JKREGP

Reasi: A public awareness program on Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) & Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Program (JKREGP) was Monday organised by Khadi & Village Industries Board Reasi, here at Pouni.
Amarjeet Singh I/C District Officer KVIB Reasi explained the benefits provided to the beneficiaries under the twin flagship self employment schemes. He said the applicants are provided easy loans through recognized financial institutions under both Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) & Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Program (JKREGP) to set up their ventures in manufacturing, service and trading sectors with provision of subsidy as well as technical support. He also sensitized the participants about procedures and various formalities required for registration and uploading of application forms under the twin scheme.
The camp was attended by Habib-Ullaha-Najar, Lead District Manager Reasi; Babli, Sarpanch Panchyat Halqa Mari (Pouni), Branch Head J&K Bank Pouni & SBI Pouni, Coordinator Mahila Shakti Kendra, Staff of KVIB Reasi and a large number of locals.
