Ganderbal : As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Ganderbal facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Station Kheerbawani.
According to a police statement, the meeting was organised on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar and was chaired by SHO PS Kheerbawani Inspector Mudasir Zaroo and other Police officers were also present on the occasion.
The meeting was attended by respectable citizens of village Shallabugh and other adjoining areas. During the meeting, participants raised various issues including drug menace, thefts, black marketing and other several issues.
The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal. The chairing officer also sought their cooperation in maintaining peace & stability in the area. The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police and Administration in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
