JKSSB SI Exams: DDC Rajouri reviews preparedness

Amid dry, hot and humid weather, hundreds of people including men, women and children mostly bare foot visited the revered suffi Saint Shrine Sheikh Noor-Ud-Wali popularly known as Nund Resh at Charar-e- Sharief in Budgam district on Sunday for prayers to seek rainfall to end the drought season in Kashmir valley. Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, VikasKundal Saturday chaired a meeting of the duty magistrates, observers, superintendents and deputy superintendents to review the preparedness for the smooth conduct of the JKSSB SI exams to be held on March 27.
Officers who attended the meeting were Member JKSSB, HarbinderKour; ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; CEO Education, ShailashKumari; duty magistrates, observers, superintendents and deputy superintendents.
Threadbare discussion was held on traffic management plan, sanitation of exam centres, washrooms, provision of uninterrupted power supply and provision of water in exam centres, OMR packing process, accommodation facilities, provision of vehicles, manpower for the receipt, dispatch of examination material, security in and around strong room and examination centres.
The meeting was informed that the examination shall be held on 27 of March 2022 from 12 noon to 2 pm at 18 examination centres. A control room would also be set up in each examination centre to ensure that all the arrangements are in place for the smooth and fair conduct of the exam. The meeting was also briefed about the pre-exam and exam day activities.
It was also informed in the meeting that mobile phones, digital watches and other electronic devices would not be allowed inside the exam centre. The candidates would be allowed to carry ball-pens (blue/black), Admit card and Identity proof inside the exam hall.
During the meeting, the DDC inquired about different arrangements being put in place for the smooth conduct of the exams wherein the concerned officer briefed the chair that all requisite arrangements have been completed at all the centres.
