Srinagar| March, 27: Chairman Jammu & Kashmir People’s Democratic Front (J&K PDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has strongly condemned killing of SPO alongwith his teenage brother by unidentified gunmen in Chatabug Budgam .
In a statement issued on Sunday Hakeem while condemning killing of SPO Ishfaq Ahmad Dar and his teenage brother Umar Ahmad Dar by unidentified gunmen in Chatabug Budgam ,has termed the killings as a heinous crime against humanity which needs condemnation in all its manifestations .He said killing of innocent human beings was strictly prohibited in Islam and the basic tenants of all religions . He said perpetrators of violence and bloodshed of innocent people can never be well wishers of kashmiri people who are peace loving and compassionate in every respect .. He has urged the police authorities to identify the killers of Ishfaq Ahmad Dar and his teenage brother immediately and give them exemplary punishment .
PDF Chairman expressed concern over the spurt in killing of innocent people in Kashmir adding that gun has brought untold miseries , blood bath ,mayhem and destruction in Jammu and Kashmir . He has asked the peace loving people of Jammu and Kashmir including civil society members , religious preachers and political parties to ponder over the grim situation and unitedly device ways and means to end the ongoing naked dance of death and destruction as early as possible . ” If we fail to check the blood shed of people going on unabated from last thirty years right now , the posterity with never forgive us , Hakeem added . He said violence has turned Kashmir – once paradise on earth- into the land of graveyards .
