Reasi: Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department, Reasi Friday handed over Reaper Cum Binder (Four Wheel Drive) to a beneficiary Nand Kishore ofSeela here in presence of District Development Commissioner Babila Rakwal.
The said machinery has been provided to the farmer on 50% subsidy under CAPEX Budget -2021-22 through DBT mode.
“Director Agriculture Jammu is very particular and cautious towards the mechanization of agriculture in J&K, which is in commensuration with the spirit of doubling farmers income by several interventions at multiple levels” said Sudhir Singh Chib Chief Agriculture Officer.
AbdulSatar, Additional Deputy Commissioner; Sanjay Badyal Assistant Commissioner Revenue; District Agriculture Officer, Ravinder Kumar were also present on the occasion.
The Chief Agriculture Officer explained in detail the entire gamut of subsidy based components meant for welfare and uplift of the farmer community of the District under various CSS and Capex Budget Schemes.
