Rajouri Admin taking effective measures to strengthen Rev Deptt

Rajouri: In another major move to make the Government services easily accessible to the general public, the District Administration Rajouri, on the directions of the Government and under the overall supervision of the Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, made all the eighty Patwar Khanas functional in the district.
Earlier, many Patwar Khanas in the district were not functional due to which the public had to face a lot of inconvenience for getting their revenue related matters resolved.
With this move, the sufferings of the public have been mitigated to a great extent. Proper signages have been placed on the Patwar Khanas, along with contact numbers of the Patwari concerned, for public information so that they don’t feel any difficulty while visiting these institutions.
However, there are still some Patwar Khanas, which need to be repaired and renovated and the District Administration, is taking effective measures in this regard.
The District Administration is endeavoring hard for creation of revenue infrastructure in every nook and corner of the district so that the revenue related issues of the people could be provided at their doorstep.
The public has highly appreciated the efforts of the District Administration for contemplating this step to make the revenue department people friendly and accountable and maintained that this will also help in the speedy redressal of revenue matters.
