Ghat schools host series of activities under No Plastic No Garbage Campaign

Doda: As part of the No Plastic No Garbage month, district Doda is witnessing a series of awareness activities in schools and community level.In this regard, a colourful programme was Friday organized at Government Higher Secondary School Ghat under the supervision of the school Principal Sudesh Raina and Zonal Education Officer Ghat Sayeeda Begum.
The programme witnessed huge participation of the students and staff of GHSS Ghat, Government Girls Middle School Ghat, Government Boys Middle School Ghat, Royal Academy Ghat and Green Land Public School Ghat.
Block Development Council Chairperson Shariefa Begum was the Chief Guest, while District Information Officer Doda Mohammad Ashraf Wani was guest of honour in this programme.
The main attraction of the programme was Urdu-Sarazi Nukkad Natak, presented by students of GHSS Ghat on the topic No Plastic No Garbage.
A debate programme was also held during the event. The programme was coordinated by Master Shiekh Hafiz and hosted by teacher Imran Tantray. Master Sheikh Hafiz also presented the vote of thanks.
Later , a rally of students was also flagged off by the guests, which went from GHSS Ghat to Bus Stand Ghat chanting catchy slogan, including “HUM SUB KI GAWAHI HAI–PLASTIC AIK TABAHI HAI” (We all are witness to it that Plastic is hazardous).
