Samba: Deputy Commissioner of Samba Anuradha Gupta on Friday chaired a meeting of the District Level Review Committee to review the achievements made under various financial sector schemes.
The meeting was attended by LDM SBI Anil Mehta, District heads of line departments and representatives of banks.
During the meeting, the LDM informed that the district has achieved 100% targets under Prime Minister New Social Security schemes, Kissan Credit Cards, holding of Financial literacy camps and Credit Flow in priority sectors.
It was also informed that 456 financial literacy camps were organised in the district and 17232 cumulative cases were sanctioned under Mudra Yojana.
The District Development Commissioner Samba appreciated the efforts of banks and allied sectors for improving credit advances in the priority sectors. She directed the concerned agencies to further enhance the CD ratio.
Reviewing the performance of line departments, she exhorted them to achieve the set target. She further emphasized on disseminating awareness about the self-employment schemes like PMEGP, NRLM, JKEGP, Mumkin etc.
The Chairperson DLRC also stressed on reducing the Non performing Assets and taking stern action against the willful defaulters. She also laid emphasis on expanding and deepening the digital Payment eco system in district Samba.
