DC Ramban reviews performance of Rev Deptt

Ramban: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam Friday convened a meeting of senior officers of Revenue Department to discuss the agenda points regarding draft rules under Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the functioning of the Revenue Department and took the stock of progress made in achieving different targets. He also asked the officers to ensure improvement in public service delivery in their respective jurisdictions.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal Sharma, ACR, Dherindra Sharma, SDM, Ramsoo, Vikar Giri, SDM, Gool, Gias-ul-Haq, Tehsildars and various other senior officers were attended the meeting.
During the meeting detailed discussion was held on all agenda points and officers shared their suggestions with the Deputy Commissioner.The discussion was also held on RAIP Act and notification of officers as competent authority under section (b) and constitution of SIA committee.
The Deputy Commissioner passed necessary directions to all concerned for submitting suggestions and comments point wise to higher authorities as discussed in the meeting.
