Kupwara : In order to ensure smooth conduct of the upcoming examination of Sub Inspector (Police), Home Department in the district, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat (who is also Nodal Officer of the JKSSB Examination for the district), Friday convened a meeting of concerned officers, here.
The meeting discussed threadbare various issues to conduct the examination in a free, fair and transparent manner. The officers briefed the ADC about the arrangements, including security, transportation etc.
The meeting was informed that 6487 aspirants are participating in the examination for which 23 Examination Centres have been established in the district. It was also informed that 304 employees have been detailed for duty, which also include 23 Superintendents, 01 Deputy Superintendent, 23 Observers, 23 Magistrates, 04 Flying Squads and 23 Anganwari workers.
The ADC said that the examination centres are equipped with CCTV monitoring. He said mobile and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the examination centres. The examination shall be conducted between 12 noon to 2 pm on 27 March, 2022.
The ADC directed the concerned officers to provide proper drinking water facility in the examination Hall.CMO was directed to keep an ambulance available and also sanitize the examination Centres.
It was also given out that Chief Education Officer Kupwara has been nominated as overall incharge of the conduct of examination.
Meanwhile, in pursuance to the directions from GAD, District Administration Kupwara has nominated Chief Inspectors for different examinations of JKSSB being conducted from time to time.
These officers include ADC Handwara for Subdivision Handwara, ADC Kupwara for District Headquarter Kupwara/ Tehsil Kralpora/Trehgam/ Dragmulla and SDM Lolab for Subdivision Lolab.
Earlier, during the day a training programme was Friday organized by the District Administration at Town Hall Kupwara in which Observers, Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and invigilators for the examination participated. Among others, ASP Kupwara also attended the meeting.
