Mission Youth:Awareness prog held at GDC Surankote

Poonch :  District Administration Poonch on Thursday organised a mega awareness program here at Government Degree College Surankote under the ongoing Mission Youth engagement and outreach program.
Youth clubs members of 28 Panchayats of Block Surankote, Sarpanches, Panches, female volunteer groups and teaching fraternity of the college participated in the program.
DDC member Surankote, Suhail Shazad Malik was the Chief Guest and the College Principal Dr. Jasbir Singh was Guest of Honour.
Officers from different departments elaborated on the mission youth schemes run by their respective departments, while some young entrepreneurs also spoke about their success stories.
The Chief Guest highlighted different youth centric Government schemes and encouraged the participants to take benefit of the same for setting up their own ventures. He stressed upon them to channelize their energy in the right and positive direction to achieve their ambitions. The program culminated with a vote of thanks by Dr Ashfaq Ahmed.
