Rent Assessment Committee clears 21 cases at Doda

Doda: The Rent Assessment Committee (RAC) cleared 21 cases at its meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC), Vikas Sharma here the other day.
During the meeting, a total 36 cases were discussed by the Committee pertaining to various Government Departments including Police, PMGSY, Social Welfare, Health, CA&PD, Ayush ISM, Forest, STD, Floriculture, Agriculture, ICDS, NYK, Fire and Emergency and Sheep husbandry.
On the occasion, the Committee approved the rent for the 21 cases out of 36 put forth before the Committee besides, while 15 others were deferred. The chairman also sought an explanation from the absentee department heads for not attending the meeting.
The DC directed the ACR to deploy a patwari with the planning section so that the title verification shall be ensured in advance. The Tehsildars were asked to conduct the title verification in respect of each rented accommodation.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, CPO Doda, SE PWD, SE JPDCL, ASP Doda, ACR Doda, and CEO Doda, DSWO Doda, CMO Doda, Ex En PMGSY, District Sheep Husbandry officer, ADMO Ayush, and representatives of various other departments.
