Doda : Chairman District Development Council Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal Wednesday visited far-off villages and took stock of the implementation of various individual beneficiary schemes on ground, rolled out by the Union and J&K Government.
During the tour the Chairman DDC visited DonliGadhter, Dongroo, Jatheli, KorraraPadi villages, interacted with the locals and enquired about the implementation of the Government schemes like PM Kissan, e-shram, Ayushman Bharat Golden Card etc.
The locals expressed satisfaction and extended gratitude to the Union and UT Govt for implementing the schemes for the general welfare of the people living in the far off places. The locals also raised important demands before the Chairperson which included construction of Puniyala road to connect about more than a thousand population and up-gradation of schools. The Chairman assured the locals that he will take up the matter with the district and UT level administration for timely redressal.
