Annual Shree Chountra Mata Yatra arrangements discussed at Ramnagar

Udhampur : Annual Shree Chountra Mata yatra arrangements were Wednesday finalized at a meeting chaired by SDM Wahid-ul-Rehman.
The meeting was attended by the YatraPrabandhak Committee & the officers of different departments. All the necessary arrangements were discussed which includes repair of the road from Dararun to Shaprian, provision of power supply, drinking water, security, Medicare, Transport, Sanitation and erection of temporary toilets etc at shrine and en-route.
The SDM directed the officers concerned to put in their best efforts in making available safe drinking water, uninterrupted power supply during yatra days. He also directed the Manager Bus union and matador union to charge the fare as per the rate list. It was decided in the meeting that the celebration of Navratra would commence in Ramnagar from April 2,2022 morning by lighting the sacred AkhandJyoti and on next day ( April 3,2022) Akhandjyoti would be carried to Darbar of Mata shrine cave.
A colorful Cultural programme would also be arranged by committee on the theme BetiBachaoBetiPadao, swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and Revenue record digitization on the shrine site.
Tehsildar, Ramnagar, Executive Engineer, PMGSY, SHO, ZEO, AEE, PWD and officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
