Poonch : A meeting of Rent Assessment Committee (RAC) was Saturday convened here under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, Inder Jeet.
During the meeting, the Committee held detailed deliberations with the departments, functioning from rented accommodations in the district and with the owners of these buildings.
A number of cases came up for discussion which were pertaining to different departments running in private buildings including Agriculture, Education, PWD(R&B), Food & Civil Supplies, Girls Pahari Hostel, Bank and others.
After a detailed deliberation, the committee approved some cases.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to expedite the payment of rents as per the rates approved in the meeting.
