Doda Police hosts PCPG meeting at Gandoh

Doda : A Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was Saturday organised by Doda Police here at Police Station Gandoh.
Superintendent of Police, Headquarters Doda, Master Popsy organised the PCPG meeting under the guidance of SSP, Abdul Qayoom.
The purpose of the meeting was to improve the police public relations and to work in close co-ordination to improve the security scenario, besides listening to their problems related to Civil and Police administration.
During the course of the meeting, the participants appreciated the role of Doda Police for recovery of thefts and conducting such meetings and outreach programs.
The SP Hqrs stressed upon the people present in the meeting to co-operate and strengthen the hands of Police, so that the social crime, Drug abuse , illicit liquor etc be eradicated from the society.
The participants were further requested to extend a helping hand to the administration by providing information of those involved in drug smuggling, under “OPERATION SANJEEVNI”.
The participants as well as the business community were also asked to install CCTV cameras at their shops so that a close watch be maintained on criminals under “OPERATION 3RD EYE”.
The participants were assured that District Police Doda will continue to make best efforts to curb the crime from the society.
Besides others, SDPO Gandoh, Shahzada Kabir Mattoo and SHO Inspector Vikam Singh were also present in the meeting.
