DC Kupwara inspects developmental works, Visits MFM Orphanage, inspects PDD workshop

Kupwara : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Saturday visited various areas of the district and took stock of different developmental works.
The Deputy Commissioner visited Markazi Falahi Mastoorat (MFM) Orphanage at Payerpora Gulgam which is run by Social Welfare Department and was informed that there is a capacity of 50 inmates and 32 inmates are currently residing in the Orphanage. He inspected various facilities provided by the Orphanage administration to its inmates which include teaching, food and boarding.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Social Welfare Officer for vaccination of all the inmate children of 12-14 <1214> year age residing in the Orphanage.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected under construction building of Social Welfare department at Tikker Kupwara. He also inspected PDD workshop at Branwari Kupwara.
Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner inspected Community Bathrooms constructed under CDF (MLC) by Rural Development department at Drugmulla. He directed the concerned BDO for maintenance of quality works for construction of public assets.
