AHD team inspects Veterinary centres, Dairy farms in Kishtwar

Kishtwar : Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Kishtwar Sanjay Sen, along with technical team of the Department Saturday inspected several Dairy units at Sangrambhata and other areas of the District.
The team visited Mir Dairy Farm, Sheikh Dairy Farm and Numaan Dairy Farm for routine inspection and post induction verification of Dairy Animals and Milk processing & fodder Development equipment like milking machines, DG Set, chaff cutter etc purchased on subsided rates under various schemes of the Department.
Dairy Farmers were strictly instructed to follow all SOPs for clean milk production and good quality milk and milk products.
On the spot Tagging and Insurance of Dairy Animals was also done.
The CAHO Kishtwar also inspected Veterinary centers of block Kishtwar and directed the officials and field functionaries to provide doorstep Veterinary facilities to farmers of the area. He also asked them to maintain a grievance register and organise awareness camps for farmers at 3 venues in Lachdyaram area. He stressed for proper disposal of Bio Medical waste by following laid down SOPs.
