ADDC Rajouri reviews implementation of ABDP in Khawas, Koteranka blocks

Rajouri : Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Pawan Kumar Saturday chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the implementation of Aspirational Block Development Program in Khawas and Koteranka blocks.
The meeting was attended by ACD, Vijay Kumar; ACP, Abdul Rashid Kohli; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; DSHO, Dr Sarfraz Naseem Chowdhary; CAO, Som Singh; CMO, Dr Shamim Un Nissa Bhatti; AD Planning, Mohd Rafi and other concerned officers.
Taking note of the baseline survey for the twin blocks, the meeting was informed that the same has been completed.
The ADDC said that the Aspirational Block Development Program (ABDP) aims to expedite improvement in the socio-economic status of 44 most backward Blocks of J&K.
He also said that the program envisages laying special focus to bring backward blocks at par with other blocks. He also said that the program is expected to usher in a new era of development in these blocks.
