Police facilitates PCPG meetings in Budgam & Pulwama

Pulwama : As a part of public outreach programme, Police facilitated series of Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetings in Budgam & Pulwama.
In a statement issued on Thursday police said that in Budgam, the meetings were held at PS Magam, PS Charar-e-Sharief and Police Post Pakherpora. The meeting at PS Charar-e-Sharief was chaired by SDPO Charar-e-Sharief accompanied by SHO PS Charar-e-Sharief. At PS Magam, the meeting was chaired by SHO PS Magam Similarly, at Police Post Pakherpora, the meeting was chaired by IC PP Pakherpora. These meetings were attended by Nambardars, Sarpanchs, Panchs and other respectable citizens of Magam, Charar-e-Sharief and Pakherpora areas.
Stating further in that in Pulwama, PCPG meeting was held in the premises of Industrial Estate SIDCO Lassipora and was chaired by SDPO Litter accompanied by SHO PS Litter. The meeting was attended by Industrial Association of SIDCO Lassipora.
During these meetings, the participants raised various issues pertaining to Police and civil authorities. The issues of Cyber crime and drug menace were also discussed in the meetings. The chairing officers assured them that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority while as the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal.
The participants were also requested to co-operate with Police in maintaining law & order and in identifying anti-national & anti-social elements in their respective areas. The participants in these meetings assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
