Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Thursday said that 12 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) including 6 from Jammu division and 6 from Kashmir division on Thursday raised the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453505. However it said no new covid death was reported from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir in last 24 hours and as such the J&K’s total covid death toll mounted to 4749.
The Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that 19 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 13 from Jammu Division and 06 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Thursday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 40,179 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,17,73,394.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453505 positive cases, 156 are Active Positive (50 in Jammu Division and 106 in Kashmir Division), 448599 have recovered and 4750 have died; 2327 in Jammu division and 2423 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23954072 test results available, 453505 samples have tested positive and 23500567 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 35910 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6238150 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 33912 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 156 in isolation and 459268 in home surveillance. Besides, 5740064 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Thursday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported four fresh cases, Budgam and Anantnag reported one new case each while as Baramulla, Kupwara, Pulwama, Bandipora Kulgam, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Thursday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 03 new cases, Doda reported 02 fresh cases and Kishtwar reported one new case while as Rajouri, Ramban, Poonch, Kathua, Reasi, Samba and Udhampur reported no fresh cases for Thursday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 02 (0.04%) is occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialing toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
