AHD Kishtwar conducts series of awareness camps in far flung areas

Kishtwar : Animal Husbandry Department Kishtwar conducted a series of awareness camps at 20 designated places including in far flung and snow bound areas of the district on the 2nd day of the week long awareness campaign.
Launched under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and good governance initiatives, the aim of the awareness campaign is to educate the public about departmental activities, employment generation schemes, technical know-how about management of dairies during the awareness camps.
The Camps are particularly being organised in far off places like Padder Ligri, snow bound Warwan, Marwah, Bunjwah besides in Kishtwar town and its peripheral areas like Pochhal village.
The camp at Kishtwar Pochhal was attended by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr Sanjay Sen accompanied by Dr Usman and Dr. Anas Beigh .
CAHO Kishtwar addressed the gathering and distributed mineral mixture, dosing material etc. through sarpanch Poochal. Dr Sen also visited a dairy farm at Poochal along with a doctors’ team to have a PD diagnosis and general check up of livestock there.
