Director HP&M inspects progress of work on Fruit Market at Kandari.

Doda  : Director Horticulture Planning and Marketing, Veshash Paul Mahajan Wednesday conducted an extensive tour of Chenab Valley and inspected the progress of construction work on Fruit and Vegetable Market, here at Kandari village.
He was accompanied by ExEn V .Razdan, AEE Jamal Udin, Assistant Director G&P, Tehsin Chib and Area Marketing Officer Doda & Kishtwar Sunil Singh.
On spot instructions were passed to the engineering wing and the concerned contractor to speed up the work for its early completion and inauguration in the first week of the coming month.
The work done by the executing agency till date was appreciated by the Director.
On the occasion, Tehsin Chib made the local farmers aware about the working of a cooperative society and its benefits.
Sunil Singh delivered a lecture on the different departmental schemes and impressed upon the stakeholder to gear up to make the Farmers Market functional in the coming season.
The program was attended by former MLC Sham Lal Bhagat; GMI Javed Iqbal; Inderjeet Singh GMI and a large number of progressive growers and traders.
