Civil Defence Jammu organizes one day awareness program

Jammu  : A one day awareness programme on First Aid, CPR, Choking, Fire fighting, and other Emergency rescue methods was Wednesday organised by Civil Defence, Jammu here at Mahant Ram Lakhan Dass Memorial Hr. Sec. School Burj Mandir Marh.
The event was held under the supervision of Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller(Dy. SP) Civil Defence Jammu. Awareness about the basic knowledge was given by the Civil Defence expert with demonstrations
The main aim of the awareness programme was to educate the students and staff members about the preventive measures during natural or Manmade Disaster.
Dr. Dalveer Singh, Principal Government Higher Secondary School, Burj Mandir, appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization in spreading awareness about disaster management and rescue. He thanked Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing such an important awareness-cum-demonstration programme. Around 150 Students including staff of the School attended the awareness programme.
Among others present on the occasion were Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu; Col. (Rtd.) Som Nath Dogra, Sarpanch Jhari; Kuldeep Kumar, Post warden Civil Defence Jhri and Raj Kumar Civil Defence Volunteers/ Social worker.
