VC SKUAST-J reviews preparedness for forthcoming 1st Agri vision Zonal Convention

Jammu : Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu Prof. J.P. Sharma Tuesday chaired a high level meeting to review the preparedness for the forthcoming 1st Zonal convention on ‘Natural Farming : A National Priority for Human Health and Ecological Restoration” scheduled to be held on April 5 and April 6, 2022.
Over 400 participants including students, farmers and scientists from North India are expected to participate in this mega convention.
The meeting was attended by Director Research Dr. Pradeep Wali, Director Education Dr. Rakesh Nanda, Dean FoA Dr. Bikram Singh, Dean Basic Sciences Dr. S. E. H. Rizvi, Controller of Examination, Dr. Rajender Peshin and conveners and co-conveners of various committees of the convention.
Speaking to the officers, Prof. Sharma reviewed the progress of all the committees regarding preparedness for the convention.
In the end, Prof. Sharma motivated the officers and emphasized that all the Committees should work in unison for the successful organization of the mega event.
Organizing Secretary Dr. A. P. Singh, Co-organizing Secretary Dr. Arti Sharma, Convener, Radheyshayam, Co-convener, Deepak Kumar and Agrivision State Convener Sourav Manhas were also present.
