Rajouri : Continuing its efforts to curb illegal mining in the district, the Geology and Mining Department Rajouri has seized two dumpers and one excavator Tuesday.On the directions of the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, the special teams of the Geology and mining department conducted raids at different locations of Thanamadi and Darhal.The teams, under the supervision of the DMO, Mohd Naseeb Bajran, seized two dumpers and one excavator found involved in illegal mining.The Geology and Minin department is taking effective measures to keep a check on illegal mining in the district and strict action as per relevant norms is being taken against the violators.
