Kupwara : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Tuesday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress achieved under different indicators of Aspirational District Programme, here.
The meeting held threadbare discussion and reviewed the progress achieved under the different sectors/indicators. The sectors which were reviewed include Health, Education, Agriculture, Financial inclusion, Household Electrification, Water resources, Roads, Sanitation, Drinking Water, Internet Connectivity, Common Services Centre at GP, Pucca House, Process Digitization, Skill Development, Capacity Building, Livelihoods and others.
It was informed that the objective of holding the meeting was to review the progress achieved under 5 thematic Areas (49 Indicators) of Aspirational District Programme for the Financial Year 2021-22 and formulation of Indicator-wise targets for the Financial Year 2022-23.
Addressing the meeting, the DC stressed upon the concerned officers to redouble their efforts so that targets fixed could be achieved within the stipulated time frame.
Earlier, Programme Leader Aspirational District Collaborative had also requested an inter-departmental convergence meeting to improve the outcomes of indicators under the Aspirational District Programme.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat, Joint Director Planning, ACD, CMO, CAO and other concerned officers were present in the meeting, besides Aspirational District Collaborate, Piramal Foundation Central Team.
