Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma Tuesday attended an interactive session with NCC cadets and NSS volunteers of Government Degree College Kishtwar in presence of the College Principal Prof. Anirudh Sharma.
The interaction was aimed to acknowledge and admire the efforts of students who had taken part in the fund collection on the eve of Armed Forces Flag Day held on 7th December 2021.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner applauded the earnestness of the students for collecting a huge amount of funds for the welfare of soldiers and their families.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also briefed the students about the scientific methods for garbage disposal. He also explained various self-employment schemes of the Government for youth to start their business ventures in manufacturing and services sectors.
He further announced that the District administration will invite experts from different fields to organise a career counselling session for students of GDC Kishtwar in near future.
Prof. Anirudh Sharma thanked the Deputy Commissioner for taking out time from his busy schedule to interact with the college volunteers.
