Reasi : Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Babila Rakwal Monday chaired a meeting of Revenue Officers to discuss various issues and review the performance of the Department. She laid stress on implementation of Government directions and revenue laws recently amended.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers to ensure removal of encroachments on state land and book the offenders involved in offence.
All the officers were directed to submit a weekly progress report in this regard and said that the same shall be reviewed every month.
Reviewing progress of land record modernization, the chair was informed that Jamabandies of all 259 villages have been completed. The Deputy Commissioner directed the tehsildars to verify the jamabandies to see these are fit for digitization.
Teams for verification of Jamabandies were also constituted.
The SDMs and Tehsildars were directed to identify Government Buildings for establishing Patwar Khanas and ensure all Patwaries are provided Patwar Khanas by the end of this month.
The Revenue officers were informed that the drone survey under SVAMITVA would be started in the district soon and they were directed to ensure that basic exercise is done before the survey.
While reviewing implementation of online services provided by the revenue department, the DC asked the officers to ensure quick and hassle free disposal of applications.
The Officers were also directed to dispose of revenue cases at an earliest as per their merit and ensure all cases are uploaded on Revenue Court Case Monitoring System by the end of this month.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sub Divisional Magistrates, Katra/Mahore/Thuroo (Dharmari) and all Tehsildars were present in the meeting.
