Samba : On the directions from District Development Commissioner, the J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board Samba Saturday organized an awareness Camp on the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and J&K Rural Employment Generation Programme here at Samlah Panchayat Ghar.
The aim was to educate the youth about the self-employment by way of establishing their own income generating units by availing different government schemes.
The program was presided over by District officer KVIB S.Harvinder Singh and attended by staff, Sarpanch Pritam Chand, Branch Managers of different Banks of Samba and Sumb Blocks, representative of other Departments, Panchs and general public.
Harvinder Singh District Officer KVIB Samba welcomed all the participants and advised them to avail the benefits of different schemes implemented by KVIB.
