Kulgam: The District Administration Kulgam Saturday provided an instant ex-gratia relief of Rs. 1 lac to the family of Sarpanch, Shabir Ahmad Mir who was killed last Friday by unknown gunmen at Audoora village of the district.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud Din-Bhat, a team of officers including ADC, Showkat Ahmad Rather, ACD Mohammad Imran Khan, BDO and Nabi Tehsildar on Saturday handed over cheque of Rs.1 lac to the family of Mir as instant ex-gratia. The relief was provided to the family within a few hours of the incident.
