DC Kulgam visits Pahaloo, holds grievance redressal camp, takes stock of facilities available at PHC

Kulgam : Taking governance at the door steps of people and to get first hand appraisal of grievances, issues and demands of people, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat Saturday visited block Pahaloo and presided over a grievance redressal camp, here.
People from Chabagund, Shahoo, Gasren and other villages from block Pahaloo participated in this camp.
On the occasion, locals and the PRI members called upon the DC and raised various demands and issues for disposal.
A delegation from village Chabagund demanded for de-clubbing of schools at Chabagund and another delegation from Pahaloo demanded government buildings for Tehsil and other government offices which are functioning from rented buildings.
People also demanded land for construction of the New PHC building at Pahaloo. They also put forth various other demands of the developmental nature of their areas.
All their issues were listened to by the DC for redressal.
ACR, ACD, BDO, Tesildar and several other officers were present on the occasion.
Later the DC visited PHC Pahloo and took stock of facilities available for patient care at the centre. He inspected wards and sections of the hospital and took stock of the availability of medicines there.
The DC exhorted upon the officers to ensure that patients are served with utmost dedication and sincerity
