Udhampur : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib, Pollution Control Committee Udhampur conducted an anti-polythene drive in the parts of Udhampur Town.
The drive was held under the supervision of District Officer Pollution Control Committee, Bader Hussain.
During the drive, around 54 kilograms banned polythene and other related materials and 02 Kg SUP were seized from the defaulters.
The District Pollution Officer sensitized the shopkeepers about the harmful effects of polythene and advised them to refrain from using or selling polythene materials.
