DDC Rajouri reviews water supply scenario; status of water supply schemes

Rajouri: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal Friday chaired a meeting to review the status of the water supply schemes and general water supply scenario in the district.
Addressing the officers in the meeting, the DDC stressed on providing clean drinking water to the public and emphasized on following a regular schedule for supplying water to the general public so that they don’t face any inconvenience.
He also asked to make the provision of buffer stock of the motors at key installations to ensure uninterrupted water supply to the general public.
The Executive Engineer Mechanical of Jal Shakti department was asked to submit a proposal for establishing a new Mechanical workshop at Rajouri.
The DDC also asked for taking effective measures to redress the public issues concerning drinking water in a time bound manner to mitigate their sufferings.
