Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4749

Srinagar, Jammu: The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Friday said that 21 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 12 from Jammu division and 09 from Kashmir division, have been reported, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453403.It however said that no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours and as such the J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4749.
The Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that 33more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 22from Jammu Division and11 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Friday, thusthe total number of confirmed cases remains 51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 12,728doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,16,66,729.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453403 positive cases, 281are Active Positive (119in Jammu Division and 162in Kashmir Division), 448373 have recovered and 4749 have died; 2326 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23736591 test results available, 453403 samples have tested positive and 23283188 samples have been tested as negative till date.
Besides, 41,647 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Till date 6213274 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 33561persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 281 in isolation and 457467 in home surveillance. Besides, 5717216 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Friday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 04 cases, Baramulla reported 03 cases, Kupwara reported 02 cases, Bandipora reported 02 cases while as Bandipora, Kulgam, Budgam, Pulwama, Anantnag, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Friday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 05 cases, Ramban reported 01case, Rajouri reported 01 case, Kishtwar reported 03 cases, Doda reported 02 cases while as Kathua, Samba, Poonch, Reasi and Udhampur reported no fresh cases for Friday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 03(0.06%) are occupied. The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
