4 militants killed in 3 overnight encounters across Kashmir, one militant arrested : Police

"Handwara, Pulwama Ops over; Ganderbal encounter on"

Srinagar|March, 12 : Four militants were killed in overnight encounters one each in Pulwama, Ganderbal and Handwara police districts, police said Saturday morning, adding that ” among the four militants killed in three encounters in three valley district are  two militants of Jaish-e-Muhammad militant . One militant was also captured alive in one of the encounters.

On it’s twitter hand Kashmir Zone police said  that police had launched anti-militancy operations at 4-4 location across Kashmir and  2 militants Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) including one Pakistani were killed in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district, adding therein that  two militants of Lashkar e Toiba (LeT) one each in Ganderbal and Handwara were killed in other two encounters. In it’s tweet the Kashmir Zone Police also said that all encounters are in progress .

Meanwhile reports said that in Pulwama, the encounter took place in Cheweakalan village in which two Jaish militants were killed so far while as another militant was killed in a gunfight at Rajwar area of Handwara area of Kupwara. The fourth militant was killed in Ganderbal encounter.
