YSS Cup 2021-22 held at DPL Ramban

Ramban: The Department of Youth Services & Sports Ramban organized the Inter Block District Level, Youth Services & Sports Cup (YSS Cup) 2021-22 for Boys in the Disciplines of Kabaddi and Kho-Kho here at DPL Ramban.
Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam was the chief guest and Addl. SP, Rajni Sharma was the guest of honour. The competitions were held under the supervision of DYSSO, Dharamvir Singh.
The Block Batote clenched the title by biting Block Banihal in Kho- Kho, while Block Ramban won the title by biting Block Rajgarh in Kabaddi competition.
While appreciating the youth for exhibiting their talent in different disciplines of sports, the DC advised them to adopt sports as a regular activity for their overall development.
The DC also appreciated the YSS Department for making these events a great success by motivating students to participate in games and sports to maintain their fitness level. He also directed the sports department to provide adequate opportunities to youth for scaling up their sports skills.
The DYSSO informed that these sporting events were organized on the direction of the Director YSS J&K Gazanfar Ali in which nearly 120 Boys drawn from 11 blocks of the district participated. All Covid SOPs were followed as per directions issued by the administration from time to time.
