Sansad khel Spardha 2022: Block Level inter ward boys and girls tournament begin at GHSS Bhaderwah

Bhaderwah: Block Level Inter Ward competition (Sansad Khel Spardha) in the disciplines of Chess, Carrom, Athletics, Wrestling, Kabaddi and Volleyball for U/17 boys and girls began here Thursday at Government Higher Secondary School Boys.
The event is being held under the patronage of DDC Doda Vikas Sharma and overall supervision and guidance of DYSSO Doda Jafar Haider Sheikh and ZEPO Bhadarwah Vipan Kumar.
Vice Chairman Municipal Committee, Rishi Kumar Kotwal, declared the tournament open in presence of field staff of Zone Bhadarwah and sports lovers. He advised the players to play the game for the sake of game, maintain discipline and follow the Covid 19 SOPs guidelines in letter and spirit.
On the occasion, Sandeep Singh a political activist was the Guest of Chief Guest.
Over 250 student players are participating in Sansad Khel Spardha competitions. The competitions held on the opening day included Athletics in which Haroon Parvez was declared 1st and Huma Mehraj 2nd in the 100 mtr race. Hamad Imtiaz and Mohammad Hamza were declared 1st and 2nd respectively in the 200 mtr race. In girls category carom, Atruba Mehraj was declared winner, while Sheza Ishtiaq was Runner up and in boys category Farhan Firdous was declared winner and Haroon Parvez runner up.
The matches were officiated by Shahida Begum PET, Suresh Kumar PET, Waqar Hafeez REK, Sanjay Kumar PET, Amir Iqbal REK and Gulshan REK of youth sports and services department.
