Baramulla : As a part of public outreach programme, Police in Baramulla facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meetingat Police Station Boniyar. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
In a statement issued on Thursday police said that the meeting was chaired by SDPO Uri Shri JunaidWali along with SHO PS Boniyar. The meeting was attended by the respectable citizens of villages Boniyar, Trikanjan, Tathamulla, Pehlipora, Bernate, Banali, Rampur, Chellan and Bela, members of Auqaf Committees, Numberdars, Chowkidars and Traders Federation.
During the meeting, participants raised various issues including drug menace and other several issues. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority while as the other issues will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal. The chairing officer also sought their cooperation in maintaining peace & stability in the area besides, identifying anti-national &anti-social elements.
The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
