Jammu : Police on Thursday said that police recovered and handed over a purse lost recently to it’s own after completing codal formalities in Parade area of Jammu city.
In a statement issued on Thursday police said that a missing complaint was lodged at PP Parade by a lady namely Radha Gupta W/o Rakesh Gupta R/o Dewana Mandir Pacca Danga who had claimed therein that she lost her purse which contained cash Rs 15000 and other valuable documents.
Accordting to a police statement on this a missing report was lodged at PP Parade and investigation started.
“After this a team constituted under the supervision of SDPO North Sharad Kalu and led by I/C PP Parade PSI Lalit Kumar after strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally recovered the lost purse”, reads the above quoted police statement, adding that “the owner of the lost purse was informed and
finally the purse was handed over to the owner after verifying the details”.
