Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal Thursday chaired a meeting to review the action taken by the concerned departments regarding the disposal of grievances reported by the general public.
The meeting was attended by ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; ADC Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Samyal; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; Addl.SP, Vivek Shekhar; SDM Thanamadi, PO ICDS, Kartar Singh; AC Defence, Saleem Qureshi; DO PCB, Anupam Koul; PO IWMP, Parveen Akhter; CMO, Dr Shamim Un Nissa Bhatti and other concerned officers.
The meeting was informed that as many as 95 grievances have been received by different departments this year.
The DC also sought a detailed report from the concerned officers about the number of grievances redressed and those which are pending with the departments. He stressed upon the officers of the concerned departments to look into the issues reported by the general public on priority and co-ordinate citizen-friendly solutions at their own level.
He also asked the officers to ensure timely disposal of the grievances to reduce pendency and cautioned against any laxity in this regard.
