Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4749

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir Government in it’s daily covid bulletin on Wednesday said that 24 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 12 from Jammu division and 12 from Kashmir division, have been reported, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453347. It however said that no new covid death was reported in last 24 hours and as such J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4749.
Government in it’s covid bulletin on Wednesday also said that moreover, 32more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 17from Jammu Division and15 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Wednesday, thus the total number of confirmed casesremains51 across J&K.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 15,125doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,16,31,524.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453347 positive cases, 312are Active Positive (144 in Jammu Division and 168in Kashmir Division), 448286 have recovered and 4749 have died; 2326 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23651680 test results available, 453347 samples have tested positive and 23198333 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 42,275 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6184154 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 32643persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 312 in isolation and 456477 in home surveillance. Besides, 5689973 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Wednesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 10 cases, Baramulla reported 02 cases, whileas Budgam, Bandipora, Kupwara, Kulgam, Pulwama, Anantnag, Ganderbal and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Wednesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 05 cases, Doda reported 01case, Kathua reported 02cases, Rajouri reported 01case, Samba reported 01 case, Poonch reported 01 case, Reasi reported 01 case while as Udhampur, Kishtwar, and Ramban reported no fresh cases for Wednesday.
Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 04(0.08%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
