SED counters news regarding ‘Alteration of orders

Jammu : Countering a news item circulated in social and print media titled ‘Alteration of orders’, the School Education Department (SED) has clarified that the department is closely monitoring the working of officers and officials on regular basis and any complaint received against any official or officer is taken seriously and disposed off as per the circular instruction of GAD issued from time to time.
As per a communiqué received here today in this regard, the department said that no complaint has been received till date instead the department at its own has detected the fraud and the order was put on abeyance and after due scrutiny the involved official Tasheen Ahmad was placed under suspension and enquiry has been initiated in the matter.
Further, the department is not showing any kind of laxity in such matters and ensures prompt action even against CEOs and Principals in case of any such irregularity on their part.
This clarification has been issued for the information of all the concerned including general public.
