Awantipora, Sopore: As a part of Public outreach programme, Police in Sopore facilitated a PCPG meeting at Police Station Dangiwacha. The meeting was held while following social distancing norms and other protocols.
In a statement issued on Monday police said that the meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Dangiwacha Inspector Imtiyaz Ahmad. The meeting was attended by Nambardas, Chowkidars Traders federation, Sarpanchs, Panchs & respectables of the area.
During the meeting, the participants raised various issues pertaining to Police and civil authorities. The chairing officer assured them that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority while as the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned authorities for their early redressal.
The participants were also requested to co-operate with Police in maintaining law & order and in identifying anti-national & anti-social elements in the area. The participants in the meeting assured their full co-operation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
