DC Ramban reviews progress of ADF, B2V3 works

Ramban : District Development Commissioner, Ramban Mussarat Islam on Monday reviewed progress on works sanctioned and taken-up under Area Development Fund of DDC, BDC, PRIs, B2V3 and UT regular component besides other schemes.
Addl. District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma, ACD, Zameer Rishu, CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, ACP, Swran Singh, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, JPDCL, CEO, CMO, DTO, DPO, BDOs and other concerned officers were attended the meeting.
During the meeting a threadbare discussion was held on physical and financial achievements made by the Department of Rural Development, Youth Services and Supports, Health, Education, Jal Shakti, PWD and JPDCL under ADF, B2V3 and other schemes and necessary directions were passed to the concerned to achieve tangible results.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the BDOs to ensure completion of all allotted and tendered works, besides submission of bills of the same in treasury before March 25 to ensure timely payment.
While appreciating the BDOs and other technical staff for implementing the sanctioned plan under Awaas Plus, the DC directed them to achieve the set target well in time.
The DC directed the BDOs to share details of total approved and completed works under MGNREGA in their respective blocks. He also reviewed the progress of sanctioned works of the Elementary and Secondary Education sector taken up under ADF and B2V3 and directed the construction agencies to complete the works on priority basis.
While reviewing the progress of power sector projects, the DC directed the Executive Engineer, JPDCL to complete remaining ongoing works within prescribed time limit. He also directed concerned departments to keep a close tab on the progress of works pertaining to their respective departments.
Meanwhile, the ADDC also highlighted some important issues and directed the officers to work in coordination with concerned PRIs to achieve the 100% targets. The ADDC also shared the guidelines for celebrating the International Women’s Day 2022 in all blocks as per guidelines, especially felicitating female MGNREGA workers.
