Doda : District Level Committee on Change of Land Use met here on Monday to discuss the applications received online from the applicants from across the district.
The Committee met under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Sharma, who is also the Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting two cases received through online mode were discussed by the committee. In one case of Thathri area regarding convergence of agricultural land for non agriculture purpose, GM NHIDCL was asked to furnish his status on the NOC in two days so that the Committee can move forward in this regard.
Regarding the other case of the Bhaderwah area, the Committee found that the proposed site for the Crusher and Hot Mixing plant is in violation of some forest and other environmental laws. It was decided that the applicant shall be given three day time for submitting his rebuttal statement in defence of his proposed site.
The Chairman asked the members to present their comments on NOC in seven days so that the permission is given or rejected in the stipulated time as per the Public Services Guarantee Act. Moreover, the DC directed the concerned officials to regularly monitor the portal and send the applications received to the concerned on the same day after thorough scrutiny.
The meeting was attended by ADC Bhaderwah, CEO BDA, SE PWD Circle Doda, GM NHIDCL, ACR Doda, DFO Bhaderwah, DIO Doda, CAO Doda, Divisional Officer PCC, Tehsildar HQA, Ex En I&FC Doda, Tehsildar headquarter, besides, other concerned officials were also present.
