Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah today condemned the killing of a civilian and injuries to twenty one others, including a cop, in a grenade attack in the Amira Kadal area of Srinagar.
Condemning the dastardly attack, the duo said that violence has no place in an emancipated world. They said that such incidents leave a trail of lifelong miseries behind them.
Sharing in the grief of bereaved, they prayed for peace to the departed in the highest echelons of Jannat. The duo also prayed for speedy recovery to the injured. The duo impressed upon the administration to ensure best of medical care to all the injured.
Party GS Ali Muhammad Sagar, PP Nasir Aslam Wani, party rank and file have also condemned the attack in strongest terms. They expressed condolences with the Makhdoomi family and prayed for peace to departed.(KNS)
