Covid-19 In JK: No death reported in last 24 hours , toll stays at 4749

Srinagar, Jammu : The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Saturday said that 47 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 30 from Jammu division and 17 from Kashmir division, were on Saturday reported, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 453214.
Moreover, 79 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 55from Jammu Division and24 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that no new covid death was reported from anywhere in Jammu & Kashmir and as such J&K’s overall covid death toll stayed at 4749.
According to the Government’s daily covid bulletin no new case of Mucormycosis was on Saturday reported and thus the total number of confirmed cases remained 51 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin said that 12,204doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to2,15,77,452.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 453214 positive cases, 380are Active Positive (193in Jammu Division and 187in Kashmir Division), 448085 have recovered and 4749 have died; 2326 in Jammu division and 2423in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 23493354 test results available, 453214 samples have tested positive and 23040140 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 44,743 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 6169066 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 33012persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 380 in isolation and 451930 in home surveillance. Besides, 5678995 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Saturday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 06 cases, Baramulla reported 03 cases, Budgam reported 03 cases, Kupwara reported 03 cases, Bandipora reported 02cases while as Pulwama, Anantnag, Ganderbal, Kulgam and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Saturday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 18 cases, Udhampur reported 02cases, Rajouri reported 01 case, Doda reported 02 cases, Kathua reported 01 case, Kishtwar reported 04cases, Ramban reported 02 cases while as Samba, Poonch, and Reasi reported no fresh cases for Saturday. Moreover, the bulletin also highlights that against the availability of 4838 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 09(0.18%) are occupied.
The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
